The wannabe starving artist
They’ve never asked
But I can see it in there eyes
Wondering why I’d waste my time
On a foundation built on lies
That feeling you get
When the pitch is perfect
And the melody hits you in the most delicious way
And a shiver runs up your spine
You feel like its all worth it
You feel like you have a chance
You feel like all your pain and suffering
Will be worth it in the end
I want to give that to someone
I want to experience it with them
I want to live in the music
And let them see light in my pain
