Nothing will change if you just sit there

My mascara is running
My eyes are red
My stomach is upside down
My heart is dead
My brain is lost
My knees have grown week
I fall to the floor unable to speak
You call me up sounding all fun
But when I tell you I love you
You announce its done
You said we would be together through thick and thin
Then why oh why are we at the end?

Damn I loved you
And I thought you loved me
I should have known all along
Why couldn't I see?
Maybe it was that look I thought I saw in your eyes
Maybe it was when you would try to get me the grand prize
Maybe it was your charm
Maybe it was your looks
God I bet you read me like a book
You knew I was look for someone to hold
And someone to love me
Without being told
And I bet that you could see too
How easily I could fall for you

So now, I'll fix my mascara
I'll dry my eyes
I'll stand up tall
And shall not cry
Because now I know that you never loved me
And now I can move on
I can be free
