No Reason

i have no reason
to live
no reason
not to die
slowly sinking
into a dark quarry
never to resurface
the writing is not sufficient
it worked for a while
then pain
was required
to keep myself
from feeling
the mental anguish
the larceny
of any felicity
i once had
i have no other options
there is no reason
to continue
no reason
not to end it now
