True Feelings
All she could see was darkness,
Though her world was full of light,
To God she prays to follow His way,
Is what she doing right?
She feels broken inside,
Not enough reason why,
She wants to slice her skin with a knife,
Why?
Does she want to die?
Maybe,
But how could she know?
Her life's a lie,
But no one can tell from the outside,
She knows there's hope,
She knows God can carry her through,
She needs someone to talk to,
She needs you,
It feels so wrong,
To have her face so long,
There's kids who were raped, kidnapped, orphans, more bullied than her,
Her mother says it's just a phase,
Still she wonders how she'll ever get through life's crazy, terrible maze
