Waking Up
As I look out at the morning dew
I hear the birds chirp
As they fly over my house
Birds eating seeds from the feeder
But are scared off by the cat
To never return
People walk by during their morning stroll
They say hello as I watch them go by
Then they go home to start the day
I head to the kitchen to get some food
When I’m done I head to my room
I get dressed, then off to school
I wait for the bus, ready to go
I make it to school, ready to learn
I wait to go home
Once I’m back home, I’m of to my room
I do some homework, then off to bed
Then I do it all over again
