"It just seems silly to me that something so right and simple has to be fought for at all." – Gregory peck.

I remember when it was only me and you
When you held my hand as we fled the bloodshed
"Everything will be alright" you said
Remember

Back when you taught me how to walk
Holding my hand as I stumbled down to the river
Dresses twirling under the stars
As we held onto each other in fits of laughter

Now your enraged with power
Standing before me
I see your face and hear your voice - who are you?

On the steps of the temple
beg, cry, plead - knife to my throat
You disappear
Remember?

We do not remember days, we remember moments.
Expect the unexpected.
Life will always through you curves. Just keep fouling them off. The right pitch will come. And when it does, be prepared to run the bases.
