the day cracks open like an egg
hollow
the golden promise of life
sucked out into a vacuum
leaving behind
only
bright pastel paints
chipped varnish
crumbling away into
crushed diamond stars and gunpowder,
an empress's dead delight

i'm not exactly sure what the meaning on the poem is but i love tring to figure poems out it makes them more intresting. Great poem!
