Jury Duty In Hell
We all sit around the table, the room cold and bitter,
they presented us with a case,
another person's life on the line.
Our coats were taken by the big man in charge,
we are stuck, doors locked, teeth chattering and breath forming in front of our mouths.
I'd always heard hell was hot,
they were forced to walk over the scorching ground barefoot,
but now I know the truth.
Hell is just the opposite, frostbite given through the snow, as people get tortured through the cold.
