E, oh E, without you,
There can be no life.
Thou art the beginning of an empire,
The end of an empire,
The beginning of the end.
U too, u are important.
But e, well,
E is indefinitely more so.
U cannot exist in the world without e
Neither can I, or a, or o
(o, maybe, but still)
Without e, there would be no
Me, myself, and I
U cannot exit
Nor enter without you-
Sorry-e
Y, do we need u?
No, we needs e
I adore e, I adore e
Indeed, I could not adore without thee
English has e to thank
England, explain, except, believe-
All are your followers
Your children, if you will.
There are more things in heaven and earth
That could be dreamt of,
And all are yours.
They are all u stood for,
But e, yes e, accomplished.
The same goes for me.

Please rate and comment on this. This was my first try writing an ode, and I don't know how it worked out.

I'm not too sure what makes a good ode, so I can't be of any help there, but the poem was really good. I really liked your play on words.
