all alone in this world; night is my only comfort
it's presence protects me from being hurt
night is where i want to be,
darkness is what i want to see
its energy makes me feel so alive
but i'm beginning to lose my drive
light is beginning to show on the horizon
the feeling is as if my path is gone
if it doesn't last why do I pursue it?
why do I stick to it?
if it is to never be then why start?
why not keep it all locked in my heart?
cause i can't hide that i love night
