As I read many chapters, my eyes fly across the page
Thinking, what have I done all these years?
Sit through a billion movies
Play so many pointless games
What am I doing here with my life again?
But reading, oh reading
You make my life so broad!
Galaxys
Superstars
Mediterranean
Geranium
Unicorn
Popcorn
Adventure
So many titles of endless overtures!
Of course says the librarian, al of them is here
A gigantic big shelf of a bazillion books loom near
As I am cautioned to only borrow one hundred books at a time
I find myself incoherent because I only see, books books and more books everywhere can me
Is this library a magical city?
Alas Im only nine
I would live in the library if I could
But my mom says come we should
Go. I grab as many books as a can
And the librarian sees me again and gives me a hand
At this point I am giddy will tangible delight
How I will go home and read these at night.
