Once in time
Love, laughter, and joy?
That feeling inside you,
like you're floating on air.
Do you believe in happiness?
Where everything goes right
and there is no fear.
No fear of war or death or pain.
No sickness or famine,
no hurt, no shame.
Nothing but you,
and your eternal joy.
That seems never ending.
I once had that feeling.
That feeling of joy,
of love and laughter.
That feeling of happiness,
but it is no more.
Now there is only despair,
and no joy to be found.
