Picture of Silence
You sit there staring
You never speak a word
You don’t even move a muscle.
You just sit there watching.
I wonder what you see
That I do not.
We have the same eyes,
The same nose, and mouth
Some would even say we’re twins.
So what is it you’re seeing
That I am so blind to.
What secrets are you hiding
Within your wooden room.
What thoughts are running
Through your head,
As you look at me now
What are you thinking,
As you look at you now.
