I see America dying the varied methods I see,
Those of poverty, each person living on the street as if they’ve fallen under depression and can’t escape,
The little girl dying as if her little body was penetrated by someone she thought would protect her from any harm or danger,
The little boy dying from the abuse of the mother that once told him that she loved him,
The unborn child dying from a teenage girl who was scared to tell her parents that she had intercourse with a boy that didn’t want to talk to her anymore,
Children dying as if the end of the world had come sooner then what everyone expected,
Married women dying from aids as if they knew that their husbands were actually on the down low,
Men dying in prisons as if they couldn’t survive in the real world without staying out of trouble,
Dying with silent cries.
