Little girl

The little girl sits alone
on that hard park bench
waiting
waiting always for her prince
that will never come
She grows old
as she waits for him
she dies on her park bench
He never comes to mourn her death
to set flowers on her grave
If only he had know she was one bench away
From where he sat waiting
waiting always for his princess
that will never come.
