It's funny how the rain seems to make you remember everything.
I can remember all those days I found myself staring in the rain.
With my family,
On our trip to the city.
How we huddled so close under a tiny umbrella.
Lying on the pavement in that summer rain storm,
My sister and I admiring every drop as it fell closer and closer to our faces.
Twirling barefoot in the street,
I swear it became a river.
A river I would dance in
With friends I can't ever forget.
And often times I wonder,
if it had been raining on the day we met,
Maybe you wouldn't have forgotten about me.
