Tears of Glass
One moment,
That is all it took to break me
To leave me standing alone,
My knees buckle beneath me and i fall against the door sobbing.
Streaming down my cheek, the tears of glass hit the floor
You have taken everything from me!
My innocence, my heart, my childhood
Unable to get back up
The glass falls and breaks faster
Sobbing against the door, no one to put a hand on my shoulder
No one to comfort me
Not that I would need it
I have become used to the tears of glass.
