Was it fair,
The way you treated him
With such hostility?
Was it fair,
The way you mocked him
With such hatred?
He was nothing,
But a little shy.
He did nothing,
But sit there quietly.
To you,
He was simply
Another target.
He became
Your new victim.
Your words,
They left wounds.
Your names,
They left burns.
Your rumors,
They left scars.
Let me ask you again,
Was it fair?
He couldn't take
The endless torment.
So he decided
To take his own life.
Now let me ask you,
Was it worth it?

This poem was inspired by my friend. He's been bullied for no reason. He didn't kill himself, but I want people to see the impact they have on others.
