our skin is kissed by the rays of the moon’s mistress
as salted hair is caressed by the suave sand
you take me by the hand to search for empty homes of sea creature along the border of soft and wet
the pile of tears will move in and out, tickling at our feet
I ask you what made someone so upset that allowed this giant sea to take form
you look at me with empty eyes and say that life is not always
as beautiful as the ocean before us

thanks that is exactly what I was thinking. I like things that are simply explained, but powerful

This is beautiful.  Favorite of the ones I've read.  I love "the moon's mistress" and "the pile of tears."
