The Words Of A Lonely Girl

I wish you could see,
How much you're hurting me.
I don't think you know,
How far this will go.

If only you knew,
What you really do.
You don't even notice,
When all I want is a kiss.

We used to be good,
But that washed away like a flood.
All I wanna do,
Is be able to love you.

Hopefully this will end,
Just go around the bend.
I just want it to stay,
Like it was back in the day.

I wrote this about my mom. We've never had a close relationship, and we kind of got close, but then it just went back to the way it was. So this is kind of what I'd like her to know, if I wasn't too scared to tell her myself.
