Life at Its Best
Experiment #5
With sunlight glistening off the water,
You feel a gentle, cool breeze, and a low humidity,
It couldn’t make my fishing any better.
You start to rub on the oils, set the line, bait the hook,
Rip off the shirt, cast the line, and pass out.
Only time you’ll wake up is to either pee,
Get a sandwich, swim, open a beer or soda,
Or to reel in that lunker of a walleye
That my family will enjoy eating for dinner.
