Happy feeling drain away
When I walked up to you and saw the look on your face
We need to talk is what you say
I wonder why, what did I do?
What have I done to you?

Tomorrow’s our anniversary
But doesn’t seem like we’ll make it
Whatever I did, I’m so sorry

That’s fine, whatever
I’ll get over this
I guess forever isn’t long
So much care put into this relationship
Seems so wasted

You gave me your love
And I gave you mine
Maybe it’s time for me to fly away freely like a dove
You drained me of my loneliness and sadness
We’ve drained each other out of the madness
