I feel the music flowing through me,
keeping me sane,
stealing the pain from my soul.
The sounds we experience,
the lyrics we live.
From the screamo that makes some suicidal,
to the emo love songs you choose to adore,
screw the standards.
Who are you to force me into a mainstream life?
I'll forget the load and turn on my music.
Grab my keys and my friends,
we'll hit the road and forget the world.
New beginnings never felt this way before.
We'll listen to our music and forget about you.
