Favorite Quote:
"Life is simple, it's just not easy."

It slowly eats away at the brain

It screams in agony, hoping for the pain to stop

Nothing is really there, but the memory

Of the past, the visions pierce the eye

Engraved in your head,

Like a tombstone

The ability to distinguish between

Reality and a real life nightmare is impossible

The heart torn apart by the arms of hell

As it rests inside of you, creeping around

Stalking its prey,

Unknown timing, unnoticed sickness

A silent assassin

You see everything now

The deaths, the bloodshed

The sounds, the surroundings

All like a unique way to torture

But without physically torturing

It will sit there for years and years

Eating away, pulverizing your life

You can’t live a normal life

The memory too strong

Your body too weak

Resting your head on a soft pillow

Your feet draped over the sides of the bed

Gazing at the ceiling, as the memory

Spreads like a plague

Your screams unheard

Your cry for help ignored

The assassin has gotten you

Struck the blade into your back

Defeated, helpless

Dead

Dropped to your knees,

Beside the bed

Crying, rolling, screaming

Like war all over again

But this time around

No way out, no escape’

Just drowning in a sea of your own pain
