Treachery
And it began on a foggy day
A drop of rain wrenched in my way
I felt something malevolent about the way she stared
By the very look of it I felt scared
The feeling was a little too overwhelming
Even at my strongest I was trembling
But when the stubble plains were lit down by the twilight sky
She gave me the sign, more like a goodbye!
Here it ended, our brief romance
Nothing more than half a chance
Leaving her all alone felt like a part of Melville's page
What did i just do,was it something out of rage?
