What hurts the most is that impact,
The impact of my heart hitting the floor.
Of course my heart had been aching,
For quite some time now.
But this sends it in flames.
Every time I imagine what used to be,
Tears take over.
My heart’s beats were effortless,
Now I can barely breathe.
What hurts the most is that impact.
No, it is that you don’t even know.
