A short and long hot dog
Spotted with many colors
She sticks her moistened tongue out
And wags her white tipped tail
When a ball is thrown
She dashes like a lightning bolt
When she is tired
Like a ball
She curls up on my lap
I pet her short soft hair
The weight of her body comforts me
And she looks at me
With curious eyes
