Why do I feel inadequate
not even worth their time;
If I should go why do I stay
and let them see me cry -
Why do I want to run away
and suddenly disappear;
If I myself am proud enough
to shed a single tear -
Why do I let them tear me down
just to get back up;
If only they would tell me
when enough truly is enough -
Why should I be the one to leave
when they caused me the pain;
If they hurt me then why do I
feel I am the one to blame -

I feel out of place in my world. Though maybe it is not my world but the world in its entirety that I do not belong. I just hope that within time I will find where I belong and will no longer feel as though I am only lying to myself that someone is listening to my words...
