Boat Ride

The spray of the waves on your face,
The feel of the wind on your skin,
The boat rocks back and forth on the rolling waves as it sails across the sea.
When on a boat,
Thoughts often drift
Like the clouds in the sky above
Or the waves sailed upon.
As the boat cuts through the water back to Land the ride is halfway through.
All there is left is the time it takes to get back but you can’t wait until next time.
