humankind...... be both

Love requires beauty
Beauty pairs with love
If love would ever be a bird
It would be a dove

Sometimes love is bread
It crumbles and it rots
But mostly love only pulls,
To help us tie tight knots

When love starts to sprout
Flowers bloom in Spring
When you feel love in your heart
It’s time to reveal a ring

Love comes in shapes
You want yours to be a heart
Then sometimes love breaks more than even
And a triangle will start

Forever and for always
Love comes above all
War, family, crime
Won’t prevent you from the fall

Stay deer to me, lovers
For it is love you will find
Aphrodite’s perfume of affection
Can turn lonesome bullies kind
