Drops of Joy
Look up and let it fall into you
Let your spirits absorb the,
Drops of joy and pleasure.
The world looks like it has been washed
The greens are greener, the streets are darker
Then, the sun peaks up from between the clouds
Throwing splashes of color across the sky
A double rainbow…
And, all you hear is splash, splash, splash,
Slosh, slosh, slosh
Drip and gush, drip and gush …
Everything just looks so variegated
With pink jackets and splattered raincoats,
Striped umbrellas and polka - dot boots.
Some people are hurrying,
Some are hiding,
Some like me are embracing it and,
Letting it wash us like the rest of the world.
This will certify that the above work is completely original.
