Your Lies Hurt

You lied
I cried
And died
A little more inside
When your around
My head fills with sounds
Screaming, crying, nothing but lying
The act, I'm not buying
You say your sane
But you use that word in vain
I can't sleep tonight
Because of a fright
That you'll do something dumb
Because you are so numb.

The author's comments:
What inspired me to write this was my dad. Hes addicted to drinking. And when he drinks he gets stupid (like most other people) but he almost lost his wife, and kids.
