Just Wondering

sometimes i sit and wonder
sometimes i sit and stare
but in the meanwhile
are we really going anywhere?
we sit right here
while life passes us by
we stare out our windows
we stare at the sky
we don't know where we're going
and no idea where we're headed
but all all the while
time is passing us by
and we sit here not doing
but just being there
