Drums in the deep
Drums, drums, drums in the deep.
They hum, they boom, they never sleep.
Echoing, throbbing, through the halls.
“To alarm!” the watchman calls.
Run, run, search for the sun
or light forever your eyes shall shun.
Drums, drums, thunderous drums!
Set your lamp ‘ere darkness comes.
For in this place of blackest night, the fell dark shall snuff all light.
Shout, shout, shout cry the bold!
Their echoes are lost in these halls of old.
For the drums shall boom and blood run cold.
Drums, drums, drums in the deep.
Get out, get out or your soul to keep.
