Too racy for a small town,
Fine I’ll just take the article down,
But people should know what their hiding,
No, No one will ever see the writing,
It’s like I can’t even catch a break,
I know I shouldn’t have written about that, it was a mistake,
So censorship isn’t dead,
But what if he would have read,
He’d most likely take it out on me,
I guess it’s not worth eternity,
Failing would mean no college for you,
So take it off and start anew,
Erase that from your mind,
Leave all of that behind,
Write about something else that’s true,
Just not that specific, or about you,
I know, I know, small towns aren’t great,
For writing about people who make me irate,
So I’ll keep trying to earn that spot,
I’ll try and make it back to the top,
But I just wish that people would see,
What’s lurking behind the tree.
