The Time Keeper
People walk by me everyday
I am hanging from the ceiling like a monkey in the trees
 With my three hands
As the dust piles up on my cold skin
Students glance up at me as they are in the crowded halls
They come to me for help
But I just stare back at them
With my sick looking pale white face
While the students leave for class
 I stay behind, never moving
 My emotion never changing
 Everyone depends on me
Without me there to help guide them
 They will be punished
People never hear me talking but
I am making the sound “tic, tic, tic”
 I am always moving forward
 Never stopping or looking back
Hour upon hour I continue to go
