Waters
Water as calm and quiet as an abandoned building
At least one might think
Sun shining with a mild breeze
Birds chirping in the distance
Children playing joyfully in the sand
As two sailboats move further out,
The storm clouds creep in stealthily
The adventurous spirit they previously had,
Was turning dark, cold, and gray as
The tumultuous clouds that now encircle them
Waters, choppy, restless, agitated at any whom disturb its peace
A shadow covers the horror stricken faces
As the other boat is completely engulfed in the dark, hungry wave.
