Favorite Quote:
If you love someone, let them go. If they come back to you, they are yours. If not, they never were.

I look but I do not see
I touch but I do not feel
I listen but I do not hear
I stand but I am not upright
I walk the path but I do not follow it
I've strayed from the path
I've entered the dark
My lantern has gone out
My feet are worn down
My shepherd's gentle hand
Guides me through the dark
And out into the sunlight again

The author's comments:
This poem started out as a sad love poem. However, I got stuck and I got the inspiration for the rest of the poem from listening to my dad talk about how sometimes people "lose" God and they are figuratively in the dark. So, I decided to finish the poem as a "light" to those who are in the dark to show them that God will still guide them if they only ask for help.
