She said "No"
She said "no" to the boy,
He didn't care.
She said "no" to her mom,
She didn't believe.
She says "no" to the teachers,
They take her word.
She says "no" to her friends,
They leave her be.
She said "no" to me,
I was too late.
The one thing she didn't say "no" to,
Was the gun.
In her letter, she tells her story,
Of how she said "no" and he didn't care,
They didn't listen,
They looked away.
Now I wish I could have helped her with that last "no."
