I can't lift
Ten thousand burdens
for the world
I'm just one person
We need to work together

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem, thinking about how much more we could be doing for our planet. It's our home and it's the only one we've got, in some houses about five seconds after something is out of place it's noticed, but when there's an oil spill, some people don't know about it for at least a week!
