Favorite Quote:
"Common sense is not so common." ~Voltaire

A feather falls into an endless abyss
Darkness shrouds thy corpse
It is nothing, people dismiss
Without a somber remorse

Hades’ striking eyes always following you
Try to escape, but come back
None understands what you went through
You’ll always be off-track

Run, just try, small, little one,
You’re mine, to always keep,
As I tear you, flesh and bone,
No one shall for you weep

I am the dark, just know,
I will always be the crow

The author's comments:
I've always loved birds, just like my Grandmother did and there's a lot of crows in Pittsburgh. Also, I'm really into Greek Mythology, so you'll see a lot of Mythology and Biblical allusions in my poetry. I guess I was using Alfred Hitchcock's movie, "The Birds" that we watched last year as a muse. I always enjoy watching the cheesy special effects that at the time scared my uncle David into never wanting to go to the Aviary.
