Hard to see you have feelings
When you lie
When you pretend
So often
When are you true
When are you clear
as day

I am so conflicted
You're so complicated
Hard to see you
When you're you

No one respects you
No one trusts you
"Why?" I wonder
Why?

They smile at my back
When I say no
and humiliate you
But I don't do it for
them
I do it for
me

I'm so conflicted

The author's comments:
This piece is actually about a person I used to know. I remember wanting to trust him and believe he was a nice guy then he would turn around and do the opposite. It was hard to tell who he REALLY was because he kept changing.
