was meant for two; the whole
of one person split into two.
Ever did I say, "True love
is not for me," until
my eyes your beauty did see.
Never did I meet a soul with
looks so fair; never have I
felt so inclined to stare.
What Angel! What Beauty!
You shame a rose!
You have bewitched me, heart,
body, and soul.
To look upon thee is more
desirable than to look upon
a star.
To feel the warmth of your love,
I would travel far.
Your elegance, your grace,
they have me in raptures.
