My friend, my love,

imagine
A wonderful world we can take in
Just by listening to the sound of moving keys,
Up and down and across the page,
Songs can only get better with age
As they paint a picture for us, to please.
Of plump raindrops drip-dropping,
And with birds calling
Even the menacing mountains have a song
That would bring out pain,
Feeding a personal gain
For anyone listening who has suffered for long.

Music is a world of paradise and fears,
Contentment, happiness, and tears.

Trees cry out for their home,
While river rocks moan,
In a fortress of a forest crying out,
As pools of water dry
Straining streams try
To replenish and flow about;
Yet bold, blue skies,
Distract from the cries,
And the joy from the sun has shined—
For the healthy melody,
Along with its harmony,
Creates a unique song with good and sad intertwined.

Music is a world of paradise and fears,
Contentment, happiness, and tears
