"Media, tell me who died today?
Media what policies must I obey?
Media, you are the light
Media you are right
Media, has sight

We the Media, control the masses
We the Media, turn em into asses

We the Media, tell lies
We the Media, sell lies

We the Media, say goodbye to books
We the Media, say hello to crooks

Media, what is school?
Media, what is cool?

Media, what should I eat?
Media, if only I could eat

We the Media, tell them to have have sex
We the Media, sell them sex

We the Media, make money
We the Media, take money

Media, you are the authority
Media, forget the minority

Media, you are my God

In Media we trust"

The author's comments:
This was written in response to the mainstream media in America not doing their jobs. In my opinion the major news companies such as CNN and Fox News report on "news stories" that benefit their political/business interests.

I liked it! It reminded me of 1984 by Orwell, which is scaring, because this kind of stuff is happening. I like repititive stuff, but I feel like in the middle I started to skip past the the 'Media's, like maybe it was a little too repititive. Just my opinion though. :) good poem! keep up the good writing!!!
