The Piano Man

The hands hitting the keys softly,
as gentle as they can.
Writing the notes down,
as the music began.
Making a beautiful sound,
with each and every ding.
played so fragile,
from the mind and the soul you can feel.
Black and white everywhere,
going up down, up down.
The pretty sound getting louder and louder,
and the edges getting more pointy.
The sound is clearer to hear,
and so close to it too.
Having so much control over the beautiful noise it makes,
because the musician and the piano play as one.
