Stupid mirror
reflects everything perfectly
in cold harsh vividness
The things we like to pretend
are stripped away
in just one glance
The masks we wear
are not good enough, not the barriers we thing they are
the mirror shows it all
We act like we don’t care
words don’t hurt, just sticks and stones
but we look ourselves in the eye
And we know
that we really do care
much more then we want to
