The heart says as it dies
Thump, Thump,
The heart shouts as it lies
Frantic in its mystic beat
Slow in its dirge
I feel the fading heat,
And slowly with the earth I merge
More than I can say,
For the robust
For what may,
The feeling of the lust
Call out, Cry out
Shudder and shuffle
You’ll come about
To the world: your cry’s a muffle
Slowly, Silently
Whisper, Whimper
