My life is a stage
Sometimes I get stage fright;
Not ready to go on
I always dance to my own beat;
Being who I really am
I may win medals,
I may not
I get noticed the most
When the spotlight is on me
The stage may be sticky;
A challenging time in my life
Or the stage may be smooth;
A time that I can walk right by
The stage might be brightly lit
Or dimly lit;
Blissful times or bitter
I love being on that stage
Having the time of my life
My life is a stage.
