A Paper Boat

By , Meggen, MO
They let it in the creek,

A long, long time ago,

It started his travel,

Through the dark wood

With fear,
Under the bridge

With hope,

Through a lovely garden

With happiness.

Then there was a split,

It took the left side,

Just because it always takes this side.

Through the dark wood

With fear,
Under the bridge

With hope,

Through a lovely garden

With happiness.

And it is still on his travel,

Through fear, hope and happiness.

And it will be there

For the rest of his life.
